WXPR, a public radio affiliate in northern Wisconsin, reported today that the town of Boulder Junction is raising funds to complete a paved bicycle trail loop connecting “two major campgrounds to the Heart of Vilas County Trail.”
WXPR reports that “trail Committee member Barb Konopacki said the new trail section is a matter of recreation and safety. ‘They bring in an enormous amount of visitors every year and every year there’s more bicyclists and families using H and we need to get these people off County Highway H and be safe on a trail.’
